Dr. Sheth was born and raised in Iowa and went on to attend The Johns Hopkins University where she majored in Biomedical Engineering. She received her medical degree from the prestigious University of Michigan Medical School in 2006. Dr. Sheth completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Rush University in Chicago and a Dermatology residency at the University of Iowa, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident. From 2010-2011, she completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Mary Maloney. Dr. Sheth then returned to the Midwest and practiced in the Chicago suburbs before founding Sheth Dermatology & Mohs Surgery Center in early 2016.
Dr. Sheth’s academic interests include cutaneous oncology, early diagnosis and prevention of skin cancer in high-risk patients, Mohs surgery, and facial reconstruction. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American College of Mohs Surgery, and Chicago Dermatological Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Sheth enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Jennifer Curtin
Physician Assistant
Jennifer was born and raised in Orland Park, IL. She received her Bachelors in Liberal Arts from the College of the Holy Cross in 2010. She received her Master of Arts from Villanova University in 2012.
After spending some time outside the medical field on the East Coast, she returned to the Midwest and found her true calling in dermatology. In 2019, she graduated from Bethel University with a Master of Science-Physician Assistant Studies and became a Board Certified Physician Assistant. Jennifer joined Sheth Dermatology in May 2019.
Danielle Khalife
Physician Assistant
Danielle Khalife is a Physician Assistant practicing in all areas of dermatology. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), earning a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She then went on to graduate school, earning her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Dominican University in 2019, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She sees children, adults, and elderly patients at our Downers Grove and Orland Park locations.
Danielle has worked in dermatology for several years, She is trained and specializes in a vast number of dermatological conditions. She performs skin cancer screenings and treats both acute and chronic conditions, as well as cosmetic procedures, including Botox, chemical peels, microneedling, Platelet Rich Plasma injections, and VBEAM/KTP laser.
Before furthering her education, Danielle worked as a Dermatology Medical Assistant, which sparked her interest in pursuing a career in dermatology. She wrote her master’s thesis on the “Effectiveness of Hormonal Therapy in the Treatment of Adult Female Acne Vulgaris.” Danielle has also held rotating positions in dermatology and plastic surgery. She has also completed a dermatology fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Danielle resides in the Western Suburbs of Chicago with her husband and son. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys pilates, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family.
Dr Niki Christopoulos
Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr Niki Christopoulos is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. She is fully licensed and certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only society approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties that certifies physicians in plastic surgery of the face and body, as well as the American Board of Surgery.
She is an active member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, she is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Metro Chicago Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
A native of Chicago, Dr. Christopoulos attended the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign where she graduated with honors as a James Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish. She then received her doctorate from the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University. She went on to complete an intensive seven year General and Plastic Surgery training at Rush University Medical Center, one of the country’s leading university centers, where she served as Chief surgical resident during her last year. She has authored numerous journal articles as well as book chapters and has presented at national and international meetings on the topics of plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has been named to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as well as being selected a recipient of the Award Winning Cosmetic Surgeons award. She is a New Beauty advisor and a Real Self Hall of Fame inductee.
While Dr. Christopoulos is trained in all aspects of plastic surgery, her expertise and special interest lies in cosmetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body.
